Went here with my parents and my kids and they all enjoyed the experience. We got to see a lot of animals and can get really close to some of them. We missed the African Tram however we still can see the animals from the side. Be prepared for a lot of walking but the view is amazing. Definitely coming back again next time.

This was an amazing experience. I would highly recommend the Caravan Safari. It is a little pricey but so worth it. One of my sons has some difficulty walking and this was an excellent way to experience the park, learn about the animals and get up close and personal. Our guide was great. Would definitely recommend this for any visitor.

We had been to the park some 15 years ago on a general entry visit. When looking at the web site we saw the deluxe safari tour which was supposed to be a 2 hour behind-the-scene tour with a small group. The cost included a entire day pass to the park. We chose just to take the tour. The weather happened to be perfect: high 60's, no wind, sunny and bright. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and very pleasant. We were not pushed for time and in fact, the tour lasted some 3 1/2 hours. It was advertised that we might be able to feed a giraffe if they (the giraffe) felt like it. It turned out several were in the mood. Excellent experience. We then came across a rhino mom and her calf. She was also eager to be hand fed and petted. What a great experience that was. While the overall cost was a bit pricey, we totally understood that caring for 3,200 animals doesn't come cheap. This was a great experience, even for two oldies like us. Highly recommended for kids over 10 to seniors.
