Fun for All. Get there early, wear comfy shoes, pack a lunch & plenty of water. Getting there early mean you can park up near the entrance or if you have a membership you can park right on top. A little pricey but very well worth it. Grab a map and try to plan your day hence getting there early. The park is big, lots to see, many informative shows you don't want to miss. There is also a tram you can get that takes you around the grounds where the animals are free to roam. The tour guide is loaded with tons of information. At the entrance you can book a ride (extra fee) on one of their safari trucks that really take you up close to the animals. Grab a stroller if you need one. You can also get on a hot air balloon ride (extra fee). Throughout the park are small places to grab something to eat and bathrooms. At times there are long lines but well worth it.

I like open area zoo enclosures. I recommend taking the bus to see herds of animals. Entrance fee is in the pricey side. There is even a rope obstacle course where you climb on Eucalyptus trees. I would rather spend a rope course somewhere else than in a smelly zoo.

I mean it is not a bad zoo at all. Large, lots of animals but many enclosures are from last century. Small concrete enclosures for bears and the like. It also a run down in areas. From just coming from Taronga Zoo in Sydney this " world number 1" zoo was a disappointment.
