We drove 1 1/2 hours each direction to get here. Packed a picnic lunch and ate in the park. To go on the tram ride included in your entrance fee was going to be another 1 1/2 hour wait. So I would suggest going straight to the tram when you arrive. It was worse then our wait times in line at Disney. So we skipped the tram and wondered the park, we expected to see more animals and found the trails/map confusing. The 2 and 9 year olds loved the little splash park and the petting zoo with goats and sheep.

We last visited over 10 years ago. Boy has this place grown. Many more animals are now here for your viewing. The parking lot was full, but the park is so big now, that you'd never notice inside. Everything is great to see. Suggestions: 1) get here early, while the weather is cooler. The animals are more active in the morning, than in the afternoon. 2) if you want to ride the African Tram, go there once you arrive. Late morning or later, the wait time can get long. 3) wear comfortable clothes and shoes, there's a lot of walking. Also bring a hat and sunglasses and suntan lotion. 4) most of all, enjoy. This is a great place to visit. We highly recommend.

Make sure you are aware that you have to pay entry into the park and then pay separate for the zipline. I will say the zipline was very cool. Everyone loved it. But, it is rather costly for 1 run. We also, did the standard safari tram that comes with the entry fee and thought it was really cool to see the animals run around freely. Overall, we enjoyed the experience.
