I had received an e-mail advertising this walking tour, and thought that it would be a fun two hours on foot. The tour exceeded my expectations. Kathy is well informed, gracious, and tailors the conversation to the audience’s interests. Many intriguing facts were discussed, and the visual connection to the facts made it all that much more valuable of an experience. Kathy’s tour is definitely worthy of consideration for anyone interested in knowing more about the LGBT movement in San Francisco from the mid 1800’s to present day.

I can't recommend this tour enough. Kathy's expertise and wonderful story telling ability made this tour the highlight of my stay in San Francisco. Our small group had some very stimulating conversation and debate and we all learned something. Suitable for everyone, Kathy was able to adapt the tour for the less abled in terms of walking and hills and rest stops. The tour covers not just the gay community, but different aspects of the Castro and it's history. A must do in San Francisco.
