Overview

Following your trolley tour of Historic Savannah, embark on the Savannah Riverboat for a 90 minute sightseeing cruise down the Savannah River. During the 90 minute cruise, experience the river that was – and remains – the lifeblood of Savannah! Take advantage of the great photo opportunities of Savannah’s historic riverfront and skyline. The land portion of the tour which is 90 minutes historic trolley tour will be the beginning of the tour. After the land portion of the tour, the trolley driver will drop you off at the River Street boat departure location from where you would board the boat. After the “Sea” portion is done, please call our dispatch line to be dropped back off at Savannah visitors center, your hotel, or anywhere in historic Savannah. The total tour time between land & Sea portion is approximately 5 hours, counting the time between the tour.

Cathedral of St. John the Baptist

The ground tour was decent and reasonably educational. The boat ride was OK too but that’s where the praise stops. The communication by the tour operator Kelly Tours was very poor. We were not told the timeframes for tours and had to wait 2.5 hours for the boat ride. Also we were not provided transportation back to our car after the boat ride. Unless you are very easy going, I would not recommend Kelly tours for anything.

The tour around the city was very informative and Dennis was a wonderful guide. It gives you ideas on what to see more in depth during your stay. He answered all questions and was nice enough to drop at our car after. The sea tour was full of historical facts and while on there saw dolphins in the river! That was a nice bonus.

We did this tour and found it very interesting and enjoyable even though the weather wasn't that great. Dawn did a fantastic job and was very enjoyable. We wanted to do this and found Dawn great to do it with.
