We were picked up from our hotel, which was extremely convenient. We were taken to the Visitor's Center with time for a very quick walk around. Once the tour began, we found that if you aren't into architecture, you were on the wrong tour. Very disappointed. We were dropped off on River Street near the boat launch with time to grab a quick bite to eat before boarding. The boat ride was pleasant with some interesting historical tidbits. There are beverages and snacks available on the boat, which we were unaware of prior to boarding. If you are sensitive to low grade alcohol, as I am, don't buy the pre-made beverages! Instant headache. We also took the Trolley Tour (on and off again) and preferred their historical and ghostly info about Savannah much better.

Hey SeniorTraveler! We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us. We’re sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the land portion of our Land and Sea Tour. While we love the varied and abundant architecture of Savannah, the historic tour generally consists of more information about Savannah’s history as a whole and we will look into why it was so architecture specific. We’re happy to hear you enjoyed your other tours of Savannah. Unfortunately, as we don’t offer an on and off option it wasn’t with us. We hope you enjoyed your stay in the Hostess City of the South and wish you safe travels!

We kicked off our trip to Savannah with this tour because it promised to show us the highlights so we could figure out what our priorities would be. It did not disappoint! We rode around with the top down on the bus with the most lovely & laid-back guide, Stephanie. Next we toured the river on the Georgia Queen. It was also a wonderful experience!

The tour was relaxing, informative, and entertaining all in one. Dennis was a non-stop source of information and above and beyond to make sure all our needs we're covered and our concerns were put at rest. If you only have a in day in Savannah this the way to go, if you're there more than a day do this the first day and you'll know where you want to spend more time.
