Overview

Following your trolley tour of Historic Savannah, embark on the Savannah Riverboat for a 90 minute sightseeing cruise down the Savannah River. During the 90 minute cruise, experience the river that was – and remains – the lifeblood of Savannah! Take advantage of the great photo opportunities of Savannah’s historic riverfront and skyline. The land portion of the tour which is 90 minutes historic trolley tour will be the beginning of the tour. After the land portion of the tour, the trolley driver will drop you off at the River Street boat departure location from where you would board the boat. After the “Sea” portion is done, please call our dispatch line to be dropped back off at Savannah visitors center, your hotel, or anywhere in historic Savannah. The total tour time between land & Sea portion is approximately 5 hours, counting the time between the tour.

We only had a few hours in Savannah and this was a wonderful way to get to know the city. The best part was the A/C in the bus so we didn't suffer the heat!

While others were riding in trolleys fanning from the heat or sheltering themselves from the rain, we were riding in an air conditioned bus, which picked us up at our hotel!! Complimentary bottled water on the land tour. Stephanie was a fantastic tour guide! Very knowledgeable! Land tour was first and lasted 1-1/2 hours. We were dropped off at a location that had an elevator that took us down to the waterfront level. We were able to mill around for about an hour and look thru shops before the boat tour. The boat tour was also 1-1/2 hours. The boat does have an elevator that moves between levels 2 and 3 (enclosed with table and chairs). If you want to go to the top level, 4 (open air), you will need to climb stairs. There is plenty of seating inside, as well as room to stand around outside on the deck. Our trip was both sunny and very rainy. Storms come up very quickly there, so better to be prepared. :) They both were wonderful tours!! And I highly recommend them!!

This was a great choice. We learned a lot as we were on the Savannah River. It was beautiful! And we even got to see a huge container ship pass by us and the speaker did a great job explaining everything about the ship to us! A must do!!!
