I wanted to take this tour with a friend that was visiting so that we could read the book together. It was a great way to bring the characters to life. We also learned many things that were not in the book. Overall, really nice Sunday afternoon.

Martin was an excellent tour guide and did a great job of dividing the tour into “What was in the book, “Locations for the movie shoot,” and “What really happened.” A pleasant walking tour covering a lot of the Historical District with a couple of breaks to sit while listening to the guide, and even a restroom break in the middle. I highly recommend this tour if you are a fan of the book, the movie, or you want the real stories behind the two.
