Cathedral of St. John the Baptist

Talk briefly about the Cathedral's history and relationship with St. Patrick's Day.

Hamilton-Turner House

Talk about Joe Odom, Nancy Hillis/Mandy.

Mercer Williams House Museum

We stand in front of the Mercer Williams House Museum and discuss its history to present-day, its role in the movie Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, and the trials of Jim Williams. We do not go inside the museum.

Armstrong House

We stand in front of the Armstrong House and discuss its history and its role in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. It is now a private home, we do not enter it.

Forsyth Park

Our tour ends here with a discussion on how the author wrote the book.

Martin was our guide and he knew everything about the history of Savannah as well as Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. As an extra treat, his wife came along on the tour who actually knows Nancy Hillis the person who is portrayed as Mandy in the movie. He gave us so much history of the city as well as information about the movie--a must see for fans of MGGE

What a FANTASTIC tour! My friend and I booked this tour and it ended up just being the two of us with our guide. He was so knowledgeable, and attentive. Since we were on our own he showed us a few extra sites and spent more time with us. Would definitely recommend this tour for anyone who is a lover of Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, really nice way to hear more about Jim William's story and to get to know Savannah.
