Scenic Horseback Adventure

Overview
Enjoy a 1 hr hour walking guided horseback ride with panoramic views of the Verde Valley. We are only 30 minutes from Sedona. This ride is tailored for nervous first timers, beginners, families and children. The ride takes you around the Texas Longhorn pen where you will get to see Brutus, the gentle giant as well as buffalo.. Enjoy views of the Verde Valley, Mingus Mountains and see as far as the San Fransico Peaks in Flagstaff. The old west feel of this location, the western facades, horses, chickens, goats and cows will make you want to trade your shiny shoes for an old pair of boots and your fancy car for a horse! Guest are also welcome to feed the barbado sheep, give the horses treats or take a selfie with the minis.

This was a last minute idea my boyfriend & I had over breakfast the previous morning. We DEFINITELY are glad we did! Keys was an incredible guide and told lots of great stories. I canā€™t wait to come back & bring my whole family for this experience!

We arrived early to get the paperwork completed. We waited for the early group to return to the corral and the riders got off while the horses were fed and watered. The horses were lined up in single file and in turn each of us got on. There was a trail boss and a lead rider. The trail boss told us the history of the ranch and talked about some of the sights on the trail. The horses were used to the routine so there were no worries. I felt safe all of the way. I hadn't been on a horse for years so I was a bit saddle sore at the end.

We are a family of 6, with two children age 11 and 16. They were eager to take this tour and were not disappointed. It was a beautiful day, and the ride was great. As a grandmother, I was concerned about the safety measures for the grandkids. Helmets were offered to all but required for the 11 year old. The instructions were clear and concise. I highly recommend this tour. The subsequent customer service for this company was just awesome. We were very satisfied with the tour.
