Scenic Horseback Adventure

Overview

Enjoy a 1 hr hour walking guided horseback ride with panoramic views of the Verde Valley. We are only 30 minutes from Sedona. This ride is tailored for nervous first timers, beginners, families and children. The ride takes you around the Texas Longhorn pen where you will get to see Brutus, the gentle giant as well as buffalo.. Enjoy views of the Verde Valley, Mingus Mountains and see as far as the San Fransico Peaks in Flagstaff. The old west feel of this location, the western facades, horses, chickens, goats and cows will make you want to trade your shiny shoes for an old pair of boots and your fancy car for a horse! Guest are also welcome to feed the barbado sheep, give the horses treats or take a selfie with the minis.

This place is absolutely beautiful!! The cowboys who gave my boyfriend and I a tour were incredibly sweet, hilarious, and so entertaining! They watched us closely as well for safety. We loved hearing all their stories as cowboys and the scenery was amazing!! We will 100% be back.

The cowboys were great and all was well organized. Loved the harmonica. Very attentive to the kids and horses. Everyone was friendly and the horses were great and looked well cared for. Scenery was not the best-so many other beautiful locations in the area. Would have liked a little more freedom to ride with family side by side. Although my family liked the animals-buffalo, bull, goats. Felt like the operation could be in a nicer location. Also they could offer snacks or drinks after to purchase. Bathrooms were clean and running water which is nice.

Nice horseback ride with very experienced horses and guides. Enjoyed the time outside in beautiful weather and a chance to do something we normally don’t have time to try.
