Scenic Horseback Adventure

Overview

Enjoy a 1 hr hour walking guided horseback ride with panoramic views of the Verde Valley. We are only 30 minutes from Sedona. This ride is tailored for nervous first timers, beginners, families and children. The ride takes you around the Texas Longhorn pen where you will get to see Brutus, the gentle giant as well as buffalo.. Enjoy views of the Verde Valley, Mingus Mountains and see as far as the San Fransico Peaks in Flagstaff. The old west feel of this location, the western facades, horses, chickens, goats and cows will make you want to trade your shiny shoes for an old pair of boots and your fancy car for a horse! Guest are also welcome to feed the barbado sheep, give the horses treats or take a selfie with the minis.

We had a great experience on the Scenic Horseback Adventure. The staff members were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The baby goats and pigs we’re adorable. The horses were sweet and friendly. My 9 year old loves going both uphill and downhill. It’s was a leisurely and relaxing ride.

We booked through Trip advisor which was super easy but they were surprised to see us because TA doesn’t actually check to see if they have space available. Nevertheless they were VERY accommodating and grabbed an extra cowboy because the group got larger. They said they REALLY prefer folks just call them in the phone to book. But they totally do accept booking through trip advisor. Excellent for first timers. Gentle horses all around. They walk in a line up onto a nearby mountain ridge with far views. The cowboys ride alongside and are funny and nice and helpful if your reins get weird or your horse gets out of line. Very good experience. Charming little ranch. All around nice people.

Great experience! Great guides! Great horses! We really enjoyed this tour. Very welcoming crew and always made sure everyone was having a good time!
