Scenic Horseback Adventure

Overview

Enjoy a 1 hr hour walking guided horseback ride with panoramic views of the Verde Valley. We are only 30 minutes from Sedona. This ride is tailored for nervous first timers, beginners, families and children. The ride takes you around the Texas Longhorn pen where you will get to see Brutus, the gentle giant as well as buffalo.. Enjoy views of the Verde Valley, Mingus Mountains and see as far as the San Fransico Peaks in Flagstaff. The old west feel of this location, the western facades, horses, chickens, goats and cows will make you want to trade your shiny shoes for an old pair of boots and your fancy car for a horse! Guest are also welcome to feed the barbado sheep, give the horses treats or take a selfie with the minis.

This was a true AZ ranch experience with real cowboys that know the land and horses. They were knowledgeable, fun and it was great to be out in the landscapes. The horses were great, happy and healthy. The ride was at walking pace throughout, so good for beginner horse riders.

My husband and I took a one hour horseback riding tour today with Fred and Chris and it was so much fun! I was pretty scared honestly and Fred took such good care of me - he rode alongside me for the full tour to make sure I felt safe. We learned a lot about the area and it’s history. We are so happy we booked this tour - it’s the real deal!! Not overly commercialized like some others. We would definitely do this again if and when we come back to Arizona.
