Scenic Horseback Adventure

Overview

Enjoy a 1 hr hour walking guided horseback ride with panoramic views of the Verde Valley. We are only 30 minutes from Sedona. This ride is tailored for nervous first timers, beginners, families and children. The ride takes you around the Texas Longhorn pen where you will get to see Brutus, the gentle giant as well as buffalo.. Enjoy views of the Verde Valley, Mingus Mountains and see as far as the San Fransico Peaks in Flagstaff. The old west feel of this location, the western facades, horses, chickens, goats and cows will make you want to trade your shiny shoes for an old pair of boots and your fancy car for a horse! Guest are also welcome to feed the barbado sheep, give the horses treats or take a selfie with the minis.

While in Sedona my husband and I took the senior horse back riding tour with our guide Kevin. Not only did we come across their resident buffalo but off in the distance we spotted a giraffe in the wild animal Park. Kevin was extremely knowledgeable about the area and it’s history. Very interesting. The horses were gentle and sure footed and obviously very well taken care of. We would love to do this again and we recommend it to everybody. Sally & Ed (salad)

We had a great time riding horses here! Our group was 8 people: 4 adults, 2 teens and two 5 years olds. The staff was really nice and knew what they were doing. Cowboys Kevin, John and Fred were very patient with all of us and made sure we had horses to fit our sizes and anxiety levels. Everyone enjoyed the trip. After the ride we wondered around to visit with the animals on the ranch and got some great goat snuggles 😁

You all should know that I have literally never written a review for anyone, ever… These guys, hands down, made two of my favorite memories to date. We did the horse back ride through wine country and loved it so much we did the ride through the Verde Valley the very next day. Chris, Kevin and Fred (my new favorite person) have the best personalities and made the experience what it was. We will definitely be back!
