Scenic Horseback Adventure

Overview

Enjoy a 1 hr hour walking guided horseback ride with panoramic views of the Verde Valley. We are only 30 minutes from Sedona. This ride is tailored for nervous first timers, beginners, families and children. The ride takes you around the Texas Longhorn pen where you will get to see Brutus, the gentle giant as well as buffalo.. Enjoy views of the Verde Valley, Mingus Mountains and see as far as the San Fransico Peaks in Flagstaff. The old west feel of this location, the western facades, horses, chickens, goats and cows will make you want to trade your shiny shoes for an old pair of boots and your fancy car for a horse! Guest are also welcome to feed the barbado sheep, give the horses treats or take a selfie with the minis.

The young man conducting our tour was awesome! We all had a good time. Our daughter wasn’t feeling well mid trip and he was patient and knew how to handle it. Overall very friendly! We would have love to ride a little faster however we don’t have that kind of experience.

Fred, Kevin and Lil John we’re awesome trail bosses. The early evening ride was very peaceful with gorgeous scenery! The horses were well fed…not the skinny run down horses that can be a norm at places such as this. Flies were a nuisance at the barn but quickly dissipated on the trail which is pretty par for the course. Safety, care, and fun were priorities.
