Scenic Horseback Adventure

Overview

Enjoy a 1 hr hour walking guided horseback ride with panoramic views of the Verde Valley. We are only 30 minutes from Sedona. This ride is tailored for nervous first timers, beginners, families and children. The ride takes you around the Texas Longhorn pen where you will get to see Brutus, the gentle giant as well as buffalo.. Enjoy views of the Verde Valley, Mingus Mountains and see as far as the San Fransico Peaks in Flagstaff. The old west feel of this location, the western facades, horses, chickens, goats and cows will make you want to trade your shiny shoes for an old pair of boots and your fancy car for a horse! Guest are also welcome to feed the barbado sheep, give the horses treats or take a selfie with the minis.

Fred and Kevin were amazing. Joked around with the kids and made sure it was a fun experience for everyone. Our primary time slot was rained out with some nasty thunderstorms but they were able to squeeze us in the next day.

My three daughters and I had an awesome time! All of the instructors, or Horsemen as they like to be called, were GREAT! Although I was a wee bit nervous riding as I am a first-timer, I was pleased to see how well my three girls adapted to the horses. I would highly recommend this activity for everyone!! Looking forward to riding again whenever we are back in Arizona!
