Scenic Horseback Adventure

Overview

Enjoy a 1 hr hour walking guided horseback ride with panoramic views of the Verde Valley. We are only 30 minutes from Sedona. This ride is tailored for nervous first timers, beginners, families and children. The ride takes you around the Texas Longhorn pen where you will get to see Brutus, the gentle giant as well as buffalo.. Enjoy views of the Verde Valley, Mingus Mountains and see as far as the San Fransico Peaks in Flagstaff. The old west feel of this location, the western facades, horses, chickens, goats and cows will make you want to trade your shiny shoes for an old pair of boots and your fancy car for a horse! Guest are also welcome to feed the barbado sheep, give the horses treats or take a selfie with the minis.

We went for a beautiful ride, and the guides were really helpful! All the horses were really calm, and although I was a nervous first time rider everything went smoothly!

The horse ride was great. The only concern we had was one horse in a stall had a leg wound, and it appeared the dressing was in bad need of a change as part of the wound was exposed and flies were swarming. One of the horses that were holding a rider on our ride also seemed to have something wrong with its leg. Other than that, we had a great experience.

This place is awesome! Kevin guided us on our tour and made it the most enjoyable and fun for our daughter. With the heat they also made sure to keep all the riders hydrated as well. We will definitely be back. There aren’t enough words to describe how good it was!
