We did the scenic horseback adventure on 7/13/22 at 1:30. The young gentleman who checked us in and gave us the "rules of the road" was so nice and sweet. He made sure we had all our questions answered and he seemed to genuinely love his job. He treated us with a ton of respect and made us feel welcome. Our guide ( I think his name was Brandon, but not 100%) was wonderful as well. Very knowledgeable about the area and funny! You can tell he LOVES all the horses there and seems to know each one perfectly. We had our 10 year old with us and he was great with her. He took great pictures along the way and we felt safe at all times. We really enjoyed him. Overall it was a good experience, but the cons would be ...you are close to a highway which sort of kills the vibe. You won't see fabulous views, but you will get up close to the desert and see sand/ cacti/ mountains in the distance. My horse (Moose) was sooooo slow. He just could not keep up with the other horses and they had to wait on us a lot. Of course, I'm by no means a professional horseback rider so I def couldn't "kick" him very well to giddy him up. I dont think they pay particular close attention to cleaning up after the horses as there were flies and horse droppings all near the door to the entrance to check in. We didn't spend a lot of time w/ the other animals but there are goats, pigs, etc. The bathrooms were nice and clean and no problem. Overall, I am glad we did it - it was fun for an hour. I wouldn't do it again on a repeat visit and if you are looking for some breathtaking scenery - this one isn't for you. If you are looking for an easy ride in the desert with wonderful leads and folks working there - do it!

Our experience was out of this world and would definitely take this ride again when I come back to Arizona. Knowledge of the lead was excellent and we saw lots of animals throughout the ride. Well done. Matthew and Rebecca

We were planning a week in Sedona and a friend suggested a horseback ride while we were there. Booking and finding the location were easy. The staff that helped us with the tour were friendly and helpful. All the horses were really easy going and friendly. There were 10 other people of mixed ages in our group as well and everyone really seemed to enjoy the ride. As a bonus you may also get to see some of the animals from the Out of Africa park but that's not always guaranteed. This was a great addition to our trip!
