Scenic Horseback Adventure

Overview

Enjoy a 1 hr hour walking guided horseback ride with panoramic views of the Verde Valley. We are only 30 minutes from Sedona. This ride is tailored for nervous first timers, beginners, families and children. The ride takes you around the Texas Longhorn pen where you will get to see Brutus, the gentle giant as well as buffalo.. Enjoy views of the Verde Valley, Mingus Mountains and see as far as the San Fransico Peaks in Flagstaff. The old west feel of this location, the western facades, horses, chickens, goats and cows will make you want to trade your shiny shoes for an old pair of boots and your fancy car for a horse! Guest are also welcome to feed the barbado sheep, give the horses treats or take a selfie with the minis.

We had a nice ride but it was a bit too simple for us. Very nice family and the twin brothers were great wranglers on our one hour ride. Horses were in good shape and willing to go.

This is a wonderful family-run business. The horses are well-trained and easy to ride. The views are beautiful. The guides were very helpful and fun! We chatted with a lot Jacob as he was leading the pack - awesome young man and very personable. Thank you for this great experience!

I will be honest I am very nervous around horses and I was scared to go horseback riding but my daughter is graduating high school and we came out here from Ohio and this was the one thing she dreamed about doing so just as all those other mom’s will do for their kids...of course I sucked up my fear and said I’m doing this for you baby! The owners of the ranch were great and the trail hands did such a great job keeping me calm! Jacob and Julian did amazing with the group! We had a great ride with beautiful views and even saw some cool animals! It was very impressive and we will definitely be back with the rest of the family! Great job boys and thank you again Jacob for talking me through it and being a great leader! 😉
