Chelsea Market
Visit inside the Chelsea Market.

Little Island
See another of NYC's uniquely innovative parks. This stunning and very popular park, sits atop the Hudson River on stilt-like "Tulip Pots". The beautiful park is relatively small at just 2.4 acres in size, and therefore, access to the park's interior is limited based upon crowd size. Although we indicate a "pass by without stopping" at this attraction, your Guide will do everything in their power to get your tour group interior access to the park, if there is availability.

The Vessel
This is an absolutely stunning piece of climbable art and architecture It is indisputably, the hottest attraction to arrive in New York City, in decades! A definite must-see as part of your tour of the High Line. Tour Guests will have a chance to view this amazing structure that begs for photos to be taken, as the tour concludes in the Hudson Yards area. You are welcome to spend as much or as little time there at tour's end. Please make sure that you bring your camera!

We always love doing something we've never done before when visiting NYC and this was PERFECT! Debbie loves what she does and it shows ~ her energy is contagious and her knowledge is exceptional. The High Line itself is such a joy, but to hear details of the architectural aspects of the surrounding buildings and who lives there is an added bonus. This tour gives you a clear picture of how Meatpacking and Chelsea come together and really gives you a feel for what the Meatpacking District was back in the day. If time permits, going to The Little Island is definitely worth it ~ you see firsthand the creativity and ingenuity of New Yorkers and their appreciation for green spaces. I give this an A+!

It was so kind of you to that a few moments to review your 'Secrets of the High Line' tour. Having you join this tour was an absolute delight and its wonderful to know how much you enjoyed it. Although the historic districts visited on tour, will remain protected from any major changes, glass towers will likely continue to pop-up in the Chelsea neighborhood, especially in those areas closest to the High Line. Although a stark juxtaposition between the neighborhood buildings of the 19th century and modern architectural marvels that hug the High Line today, I'm sure you'll agree that it makes for a pretty interesting tapestry of structures! Undoubtedly, as New York City re-emerges post-COVID19 pandemic, the areas visited during your tour will continue to evolve and grow. All along the Hudson River waterfront NYC is creating more and more 'green' spaces for visitors and locals, to enjoy. The Little Island is indeed, a beautiful and innovative addition to our City and we knew you'd love it! We hope that you will share your tour experience with others and will tour with us once more when visiting the NYC area. It is with sincere appreciation that we thank you for your kind and thoughtful review and we look forward to serving you again!

This is a must do experience! Having walked the High Line a few times before I didn’t think there was anything else to know about it. I was wrong! Our professional tour guide Debbie Mason met us on time at a designated location with iPad in hand that she uses throughout the tour to show historical photos of the meatpacking district and surrounding areas. We asked for an architectural focus and Debbie delivered!! She revealed so many amazing stories and High Line vantage points that I hadn’t noticed on past visits. Debbie was also thoughtful about asking us if we needed to sit or take a bathroom break. This tour is a “must do” the next time you visit New York!

Hi, Elisa. It was my absolute pleasure to deliver on my promise that both you and Kim would enjoy a wonderfully memorable experience of NYC's incredible "Park-in-the-Sky"! I'm hopeful that you found your visit to "Little Island" extremely enjoyable, as well. I'd like to thank you for this kind and thoughtful review and for taking some time to share your “Secrets of the Highline” tour experience, with others. As we begin our post-pandemic recovery and our slow but steady return to pre-pandemic "normalcy", reviews are so very important in that they provide potential visitors with invaluable insight into tour experiences. That can be a powerful and really helpful tool in guiding their booking decisions and assuring them of the best quality experiences. I’d like to express how truly appreciative I am for this wonderful review and I’m quite sure that future travelers will be appreciative, as well. I offer you my heartfelt thanks for the review and for allowing me the privilege of guiding you and Kim around this iconic, "must-see" part of my amazing City. I am hopeful for the opportunity to serve you again on some future tour experience. All the best! Debbie

This tour was part of a group visit to NYC and what a lucky find! I only wish we had had the time for more of Debbie's tours. She was a fantastic guide, warm and friendly personality, easily answering the many and varied questions posed and pointing out all the sights along the way. Was able to fill in details (local lore) and had "before and after" pictures of the areas around the High Line. She pointed out views we might have missed along the way which were worthy of a look and a picture. There are many tours available in NYC, but don't miss this one!
