My wife and I did this tour for our 20 year anniversary and were looking forward to this as one of the things we wanted to accomplish on our two day trip to Sedona. While the stars were amazing to see (we’ve never actually seen the Milky Way) I wish there was a little more to it. We got to see a few star clusters and seeing the bands on Jupiter and the ring on Saturn were very cool. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all questions. You could tell this was his passion. Overall a great time and may have been everything we wanted if we got another half an hour and more discussion on constellations.

Been to several stargazing events in my 80 years and have seen uncountable fascinating views of stars and planets. This was, most unfortunately. A collosal disappointment as all we saw were a spec of a star, a few speaks of what we were told were 2 stars and tiny, very tiny views of Jupiter & Saturn. The astronomer was excellent & knowledgeable but the presentation, that cost almost $270 for the two of us ranks as the most expensive wastes of money in our over 60 years of worldwide travel. Note: appeared almost everyone else seemed to appreciate and enjoy the presentation. Have to think it was us who were so painfully disappointed.

It was a perfectly clear night with no moon out and so we could see a million stars. We was a berry knowledgeable host who answered all our questions and presented the objects we looked at through the telescope with deep understanding. It was very organized.
