Our group of 4 attended the stargazing tour in late April (a bit chilly in the desert air - dress warmly!) and thoroughly enjoyed the experience! We had Dan as our guide and he was very knowledgeable of the night sky. Seeing the sky in a designated dark sky area is amazing - definitely recommend it if you have the time while in Sedona!

My wife and I were given our own telescope to use. This was not a cheap instrument but rather a massive, advanced 11 inch diameter telescope. Rick was our guide, and as a retired professional astronomer, he was extremely knowledgeable. I have a technical background but my wife does not, but we both felt that the explanations were great and we each learned something. It was really incredible to see objects from within our galaxy and to also see other galaxies that are far, far away. IMHO, the Sedona Stargazing Tour is the best way to spend an evening in Sedona.
