We met in a lot across from their offices, and as a group walked across the local soccer field to where they had chairs, blankets and huge telescopes set up. They also had binoculars for our use. The groups were quite small per telescope so we had lots of time to look and ask questions . The guide was awesome, he used a big laser pointer to show us different constellations, planets, nebulas, stars, satellites and wove stories in from Native American and Ancient Greek mythology. At the end of each story he creatively ended the tale on which next item we were going to see through the scopes. Lots of times to answer questions, the night was clear and stars were abundant. It was a great experience.

The Stargazing Tour was a very interesting experience. It was a little challenging to find the location (after dark) an our guide, but it was totally worth it. We saw 5 planets, a 'star nursery' where stars are born and our own moon along with it's craters and the Sea of Tranquility where we saw man land on the moon earlier in our lives. It was educational and enjoyable. The telescopes (7 in all) were huge and very capable of showing us the planets, stars and moons. The guide was super geeky smart about all of the planets and the constellations. Helped us see all of God's creation beyond our beautiful planet Earth. The location although hard to find was the perfect spot as there was no light pollution, and inside several large red mountains blocking other light, allowing us to see in the night sky and each other although very dark outside. Excellent and safe adventure for all ages!

Very interesting topic and speaker was patient and knowledgeable. The location was ideal as it was secluded and dark.
