No pictures to post as white flash takes away from the experience. Was very informative, information from quite a knowledgeable guide. Learned more in that short time than ever expected. Take the tour you will learn and see things you would never believe or imagine!

Very knowledgable team West and Kim, and impressive set up. They took care of me and my daughter, have own set of telescopes, binoculars, and chairs. Telescopes were huge and legit. Had learned a lot about star in a fun way. Milk way is so unbelievable across the sky. Very happy with it. Took some pictures of milkway and Orion with cellphone at car park.

This is the 3rd time I've done this tour and I'm saddened to say, my last. It has become a money maker without the intimate feel that it used to have. They now have several telescopes that people team up together on which is fine but we felt very rushed. You now have to enter in the quadrants on a remote so the telescope can redirect to the next item we were to look at. The remote buttons are red and hard to read. The instructor spoke so softly and quickly that it was hard to follow along and to even remain interested. There used to be interaction between the instructor and audience which made it a much more enjoyable. This time it seemed very robotic. Definitely not worth $496 for 4 of us.

While it is always disappointing when we get this type of review and even more so from a long term guest we are operating in times of pandemic and like many businesses we have had to change our operation to keep our staff and customers safe. Prepandemic we had small groups of 10 with an astronomer and one telescope operated by the astronomer. All customers shared equipments and were in close proximity to each other and our astronomer. Unfortunately we cannot operate like that in COVID times. Virtually all of our guests enjoy operating the telescope and it is simple to use. It is helpful if you come prepared and bring reading glasses or prescription if you need them. Finally we have added staffing so that our assistant astronomer is constantly roving our groups to make sure that everyone is taken care of.
