We did this on a very clear cool night with only a quarter moon in the sky. The tour host was very knowledgeable and easily answered all questions. They had 5 or 6 excellent viewing telescopes which easily accommodated everyone and allowed us to use them as much as we wanted. I would go again on another night with a different kind of sky (phase of the moon for example).

The viewing area is a very short walk from the parking area. It’s dark but the guides take great care to get the group over safely. Wes was incredibly knowledgable and did a great job pointing out many visible constellations, planets and stars. The high power laser made such a difference so you didn’t feeel like you were missing out. We were able to see some deep space as it was a very clear night and the light pollution is so low. They had camping chairs and blankets which made the experience that much more enjoyable.
