We got a surfing lesson for our sons, 22 and 17. They had a blast! They were both able to get up on the board multiple times throughout the lesson. Aleka (not sure I am spelling it right) was a fabulous instructor and was very personable. Everyone at the shop was very friendly and helpful. They even gave us beach chairs to use while we watched the lesson. This was also one of the more affordable shops.

Big Wave Dave's was just around the corner from our hotel so we went here to book a surf lesson. We found all the staff really friendly on first meet. The lesson itself was with Uncle Kevin (an absolute legend). We didn't waste much time getting into the water and within a couple of waves we were both up on the board! Great fun, great experience! Uncle KEvin was brilliant with my son! Highly reccomend. Be warned photo package is quite expensive ($100) however well worth it.

Just incredible! With the clear instructions of the surf instructor, my son (22) and I (54) actually managed to ride a few waves, even though it was the 1. Mal was and the sea pretty wild!
