I booked a one-night hotel package with Sesame Place. I couldn't attend due to illness and called to reschedule the day before we were supposed to check in. After waiting on hold for an hour as they told me (with a headache, fever, and two sicks kids under 5), so they told me my trip was rescheduled and I would receive my updated reservation information via email as well as a call back at the end of the day. I received nothing. I called again that Monday and the hotel apparently marked us as a no show. The supervisor of the hotel that day wasn't working, so they had to wait to call him in a few days, and I would have to call back; this call too took an hour. I had my husband call and they were not able to clear up the issue with the hotel and offered a refund after my husband asked for one. They said it would be a few days. I called again to check the status of my refund and was told it takes 15 days to process. I called after 15 days and was told the refund was requested but not processed. After speaking with a supervisor I requested, I was told it would be another 10 days and she would request the refund. I asked what happened to the first request? She couldn't say what went wrong. Every call took on a hour of holding with no resolution. My kids never even went to the park and this trip has cost me $350. Worst customer service ever. Who knows if I will ever get my money back.

Lots of ride were closed, even ones that weren’t water related. As were most of the eateries. Not sure why. It was bummer since our kid is young and barely anything to ride. Disappointed in the experience.

Our family of 5 has been season pass holders for a number of years. This year we will not renew. Long story short: prices have increased dramatically with less service. For example, in 2019, the "Dine with Elmo and Friends" (Season Pass pricing) was $21.60 per adult and $8.80 per kid. Now the same experience in 2022 is $38.24 per adult and $21.24 per kid. Seriously! $125+ for breakfast? Nah. The foot is atrocious and very expensive. We are talking $15.99 for a burger or crappy chicken sandwich. You can bring your own snacks and food in, and I would recommend that you do this along with your own waters and drinks because those are astronomical as well. Additionally, there is now a 5% surcharge on all food in the park. Even if you get a ice cream you will pay this "fee." Do a web search to find articles about Sesame Place 5% surcharge. Half the rides are usually closed and the staff working there are NOT friendly and barely acknowledge your presence. Overall, everything in the park is designed to separate you from your money.
