We had an amazing time exploring the mountains! Our tour guide, Will, was very knowledgeable and informative. We saw a lot during the 5 hours without exerting too much energy as it was mostly light walking. Very enjoyable!

I explored the Red Rocks area, then the quaint town of Evergreen and Echo Lake. Evergreen still has the wooden sidewalks, quaint shops, and a few good restaurants. It's easy to get to and not that far from Denver.

Fantastic half day tour! Our guide Will was terrific. I loved the way Will got everyone in our group to introduce ourselves - it set a really nice feel for the day and enabled some nice group bonding. Will also wore a microphone so we could all still hear him in the bus. I appreciated this when I did a tour the next day with another company and was stuck in the back seat of the van and could not hear anything the guide driving was saying as he did not use a microphone. Also - the van Colorado Sightseer uses is a little more roomy then the other van used by a different tour group - definitely not as squishy!! Also - Will was great in making sure everybody got photos - you hardly had to ask - he was always offering which was so lovely for me as a solo traveller as I often feel bad asking for someone to take a pic of me. Again - this was something that the other tour company was not as good at - not as attentive to the group. I was originally so disappointed when Colorado Explore cancelled my Mountain Trip due to avalanche risk, but their communication was terrific - they gave me a few days notice that the tour maybe cancelled and really helped me work out my options for what else I could do when it did indeed get cancelled. They also gave me a discount off the tour they swapped me too in recognition of the mountain trip cancellation which I really appreciated. I highly recommend the Colorado Sightseer tours - I did a tour with another company to the Rocky Mountains the next day and it was nowhere near as good an experience. They too cancelled a tour on me and their communication was terrible - I only received the message at 5pm the night before the tour which gave me no time to organise something else. Loved this whole experience - felt like we were the only ones at Echo Lake - definitely did not feel touristy! Highly, highly recommend!
