Visit Red Rocks Park and amphitheater, then travel up into the mountains via Bear Creek Canyon to the quaint mountain town of Evergreen. Browse the local shops or enjoy a quick drink in the Saloon, winery, or local coffee shop. Witness beautiful Rocky Mountain vistas while climbing over a beautiful mountain pass to Echo Lake at 10,600 ft. Stroll around this beautiful glacial lake sitting at the base of 14,256 foot Mt. We recommend a jacket year round as the mountains are always colder than Denver. In the winter hat and gloves are recommended as well.

Access into the amphitheatre is dependent on sound check closures by performers the day of. We recommend taking our morning tour for best chances of accessing the inside of the amphitheatre itself during concert seasons.

Evergreen Lake

Enjoy picturesque Bear Creek Canyon on your way to Historic Downtown Evergreen. This fun mountain town is full of local artisan shops, a wild west saloon, winery and the cutest coffee shops. Stop for a quick drink and to look around this quaint town with a colorful past.

Echo Lake Park

Travel up Squaw Pass where you will enjoy breathtaking views of the Continental Divide and Rocky Mountains along this Scenic Byway. You will reach beautiful Echo Lake, a glacial lake sitting at 10,600 ft at the base of Mt. Evans. Enjoy a stroll around the lake and take in the fresh mountain air and scenery.

We booked 3 different tours with Colorado Sightseer - 2 full days and one half day and each and every tour was perfect. Our guide was Dawn for the Red Rocks tour and she is truly a gem. So friendly and knowledgeable and made the trip so much fun. The sights were gorgeous and Red Rocks is truly amazing. Echo Lake is stunning. We also had a quick stop in Evergreen, which is a small "old fashioned" town and was so interesting. A few years ago when we visited Denver, we took a tour to Rocky Mountain National Park and Dawn was our guide on that tour as well - we thought she did such a great job - and Colorado Sightseer is such a great company that we wanted to book our tours with them for this trip as well. You will not be disappointed!
