Went on a two-hour whale watching tour from Oceanside and it was excellent. We saw sea lions on our way out of the harbor, as well as many dolphins. The captain had seen a large fin whale earlier in the day and took our group out to find the same whale. We watched this whale for quite some time - absolutely incredible. Highly recommend this tour!

Pretty long two hours sitting on hard benches listening to loud music. Never saw a whale (Not guaranteed to see one), Boat was bumpy and then...............BAM!!! 600 dolphins swimming around all over the place, jumping and going like crazy. WOW, very nice. Long slow boat ride back. Could have stayed longer watching the dolphins. The kicker...We might do it again someday hoping to see a whale. The crew and ticket people were very nice and polite.

I went whale watching for the third time, my second time with Oceanside Adventures, with my mom for her birthday. It was her first time whale watching, and we had a blast, we didn't see any whales that trip but we did find ourselves in a pod of common dolphins, probably several pods honestly, because there were hundreds of them. We learned a lot about the dolphins, their family structure and even what some of their jumps meant, signals to the other dolphins. All in all, it was a great trip.
