Overview

This museum is all about military history on a personal level and is a collection of military artifacts that I started collecting over 40 years ago. We own many items but the select items we feature in this museum are ones with a story to tell. When our visitors leave the museum, it is our hope that they will have a new found attachment to the individuals who wore the uniforms, hats and medals.

What To Expect

Webb Military Museum

Located in Historic Downtown Savannah, Webb Military Museum features military artifacts from the American Civil War to Desert Storm. Original uniforms, headgear, and equipment are displayed in a walk-through setting. The museum honors our servicemen from all wars and branches. Many of the displays contain named groupings of servicemen highlighting their stories of service. A visit to Webb Military Museum will certainly bring back one’s love of history and the realization of how much we owe to our men and women in uniform. ACTIVE MILITARY ARE FREE!

This was such a cool experience being able to see a huge personal collection up close. So many pieces of history that I never imagined being able to see. Gary Webb (the owner) has great stories to tell about each item so I recommend asking him lots of questions. He will also point out important things you likely overlooked since it is packed with historical items.

The owners are just awesome . If you stop in here, you’ll see some artifacts you’ll never be able to see anywhere else. You not only get history, but also an abundance of things to look at. It’s impossible to be bored. They let you walk around at your own pace, and also offer a scavenger hunt with a cool little surprise at the end. You can really tell that this place is the owners pride and joy. They give you a side of history you haven’t really heard before while also keeping it to be what you expected.
