Overview

This museum is all about military history on a personal level and is a collection of military artifacts that I started collecting over 40 years ago. We own many items but the select items we feature in this museum are ones with a story to tell. When our visitors leave the museum, it is our hope that they will have a new found attachment to the individuals who wore the uniforms, hats and medals.

What To Expect

Webb Military Museum

Located in Historic Downtown Savannah, Webb Military Museum features military artifacts from the American Civil War to Desert Storm. Original uniforms, headgear, and equipment are displayed in a walk-through setting. The museum honors our servicemen from all wars and branches. Many of the displays contain named groupings of servicemen highlighting their stories of service. A visit to Webb Military Museum will certainly bring back one’s love of history and the realization of how much we owe to our men and women in uniform. ACTIVE MILITARY ARE FREE!

This may be the best history/military museum we have visited. The entire collection is Gary Webb’s personal collection and each piece on display is tied to an individual. This museum is about PEOPLE not the conflicts. While the museum is self guided Gary is more then happy to walk young through, everyone will soon be tagging along to hear Gary’s stories about the people who once possessed the items on display. This place is an amazing adventure.

This museum is impressively packed with authentic weapons, gear, etc from seemingly every human conflict in history. So cool.

This place is helps you really understand the stories behind the wars that the united states has been in. As a history teacher I like going to places like this and seeing what small stories I can find, well this place is full of them. From every war the US has been in. I could have spent the hole trip in this place if my wife would have put up with it. The owner knows more about history than most and loves ti talk and listen to stories. This place is a must see for anyone that is into history and warfare.
