Hello, when I arrived at the ' 9/11 memorial and museum ' and saw the banner at the entrance to the ' One world trade centre ' advertising the ' One world observatory tour ' I had to try it. There are different tickets available and I went for the ' Skypod pass, All inclusive ' at $68. With that you are straight in. It is a magic trip, the entrance to the exhibition on the ground floor is really something. It is an enourmous cinema type screen with changing images. The elevator ride is something too with an audio commentary. When you reach the top the views are amazing and there is the bonus of a gadget ' Skypod pass ' ticket holders are loaned after a breif explanation of how to use it by staff. It is like a tablet, you can go and admire the views and if you want details just point the tablet at what you are looking and it zooms in for a close up and offers visual and audio details. It's amazing, like something from ' Star trek '. When you decide you want to move on ( there is no pressure/ rush from staff ) to maybe refreshments or the store you just return the tablet. The ' Skypod pass ' includes either $15 for a drink or can be used in the store. The store has lots of nice items but is expensive, I chose a golfers piece of kit featuring the ' One world observatory ' logo. During the tour there is a green screen type photo shoot and you have the option of buying it in the store. Many thanks to ' Gabby ' the staff member who took me through selecting which background to use.
