Experience was great! The 3 minute presentation when you arrive at the top is a must see. We opted to have dinner at the restaurant where we had the most beautiful views of the city followed by a stunning sunset. The staff, from check in all the way to our servers, were friendly and ready to help/answer any questions. The only complaint we had was the food was terrible! After dinner we went down to the observation deck. It's exactly as some reviewers have mentioned. A lot of grown adults not having any consideration of how long they spend in one spot and kids running around like they're at the playground. Even though the food was terrible it was worth to eat at the restaurant as we got to see the views unobstructed from all the commotion from the observation deck.

The combination ticket wasn't worth it. Beyond getting through security about 60 seconds quicker, you then just join the normal queues. The video presentation on floor 102 when you arrive is quite boring until the final 30 seconds. After that, you're herded into another presentation where they try to up-sell you an iPad that gives info on the city. This is already included in the combo ticket but it kept shutting down and was basically useless. The observation deck is fine, but crowded with people doing non-stop instagram photo shoots and kids running wild. Very underwhelming. Also the glass floor you stand on doesn't give you a view of the street. Instead it's a video camera feed of the street. Save your money and go to Top of the Rock or Empire State for a better experience.

The view from this height has to be seen to appreciate. Astounding to see the Statue of Liberty far below, and all the Islands and huge buildings of Manhattan. There was no line when on a Monday afternoon.
