Join Coastal Kayak Charters for a small group guided kayak tour of the Shell Key Preserve. We are St Pete's top rated kayak tour company and focus exclusively on small groups and private tours. Our trips offer more personalized service and better wildlife viewing opportunities while out on the water. We will explore hidden mangrove tunnels (tides permitting), shallow seagrass meadows, and stop on Shell Island for time to swim, look for shells, or just relax and enjoy the beach. Our tours are designed for beginners and experienced kayakers alike. We use stable user friendly kayaks that provide a great paddling experience. We primarily use double kayaks unless you have an odd number in your group. If you prefer single kayaks they are available through our website. Come explore with local professionals who love what they do and see the difference for yourself.

All Equipment, Instruction & Dry Bags. Primarily Double Kayaks, singles available through website.

**Weight Limit** 250lbs per seat | 450lbs combined for double kayaks.

*Ages 3+ | 3-12 must be in a double kayak with an adult or older child.

*Please arrive to launch site 30min early, there are no public facilities available at site.

Fabulous tour. Kayaked over shallow water to see sea slugs, jelly fish and birds. Through beautiful mangroves then over to shell island. Beautiful island with lots of shells. Great guide Spencer talked about the local animals and plants. Very relaxing

Spencer did a great job ensuring we were ready to kayak and then lead us out to the islands. He was very informative of the birds, fish, and fauna that we saw. The trip was very enjoyable and not overtaking for any in our group. I would recommend this trip as a great way to spend an afternoon on the water.
