Join Coastal Kayak Charters for a small group guided kayak tour of the Shell Key Preserve. We are St Pete's top rated kayak tour company and focus exclusively on small groups and private tours. Our trips offer more personalized service and better wildlife viewing opportunities while out on the water. We will explore hidden mangrove tunnels (tides permitting), shallow seagrass meadows, and stop on Shell Island for time to swim, look for shells, or just relax and enjoy the beach. Our tours are designed for beginners and experienced kayakers alike. We use stable user friendly kayaks that provide a great paddling experience. We primarily use double kayaks unless you have an odd number in your group. If you prefer single kayaks they are available through our website. Come explore with local professionals who love what they do and see the difference for yourself.

What's Included

All Equipment, Instruction & Dry Bags. Primarily Double Kayaks, singles available through website.

**Weight Limit** 250lbs per seat | 450lbs combined for double kayaks.

*Ages 3+ | 3-12 must be in a double kayak with an adult or older child.

*Please arrive to launch site 30min early, there are no public facilities available at site.

My three adult daughters and I did a sunset trip. It was awesome. Everyone was friendly and courteous. Our guide, Spencer, did a great job telling us about the area and different plants and animals we saw. It was a great way to spend the evening

This was my second trip with Coastal Kayak Charters and it did not disappoint! Best kayak tours I’ve ever been on by far. Communication and ease of booking, clear instructions and an amazing trip. The area is gorgeous and the guides are fun and lighthearted! My first trip was in May and now November and it was nice to see what the different seasons had to offer. Can’t wait to come back again!
