Join Coastal Kayak Charters for a small group guided kayak tour of the Shell Key Preserve. We are St Pete's top rated kayak tour company and focus exclusively on small groups and private tours. Our trips offer more personalized service and better wildlife viewing opportunities while out on the water. We will explore hidden mangrove tunnels (tides permitting), shallow seagrass meadows, and stop on Shell Island for time to swim, look for shells, or just relax and enjoy the beach. Our tours are designed for beginners and experienced kayakers alike. We use stable user friendly kayaks that provide a great paddling experience. We primarily use double kayaks unless you have an odd number in your group. If you prefer single kayaks they are available through our website. What's Included

All Equipment, Instruction & Dry Bags. Primarily Double Kayaks, singles available through website.

**Weight Limit** 250lbs per seat | 450lbs combined for double kayaks.

*Ages 3+ | 3-12 must be in a double kayak with an adult or older child.

*Please arrive to launch site 30min early, there are no public facilities available at site.

Fun and chilled time kayaking day. Spencer, our guide, was a great guide, great teacher, very patient and funny. Hubs and I both were pleasantly surprised how much enjoyed it. We accidentally overpaid, they said they would credit and they did. That spoke volumes. Integrity and honesty is rare these days. Will definitely book when we're in St. Petes again. Thanks.

We have done this tour before, every time is amazing. This time we were lucky enough to see dolphins while kayaking, dolphins hunting while we were on Shell Key, and even got to play with a jellyfish.

The trip offered everything as promised…appropriate for experienced kayakers as well as novices. Ross kept a close eye on all of us & made sure he knew our names from the start. We came upon a few dolphins (which was thrilling) and we were able to follow them for a bit. He explained why the double crested cormorants wanted to accompany us, and educated us on the white pelicans and jellyfish. Paddling through the mangroves was wonderful. The part of the trip that really surprised and delighted me was the fact that Ross took pictures of us which he later texted to us. He got a great pic of me in the mangroves which has been fun to share with friends. Finally, I felt that the trip was well worth the cost.
