Join Coastal Kayak Charters for a small group guided kayak tour of the Shell Key Preserve. We are St Pete's top rated kayak tour company and focus exclusively on small groups and private tours. Our trips offer more personalized service and better wildlife viewing opportunities while out on the water. We will explore hidden mangrove tunnels (tides permitting), shallow seagrass meadows, and stop on Shell Island for time to swim, look for shells, or just relax and enjoy the beach. Our tours are designed for beginners and experienced kayakers alike. We use stable user friendly kayaks that provide a great paddling experience. We primarily use double kayaks unless you have an odd number in your group. If you prefer single kayaks they are available through our website. What's Included

All Equipment, Instruction & Dry Bags. Primarily Double Kayaks, singles available through website.

**Weight Limit** 250lbs per seat | 450lbs combined for double kayaks.

*Ages 3+ | 3-12 must be in a double kayak with an adult or older child.

*Please arrive to launch site 30min early, there are no public facilities available at site.

My favorite part was stopping at the beach and being able to swim around. Also being able to see the water through the kayaks. A tip I would give for future travelers would be to bring a drink. They do supply water but if you would rather have your own drink, bring it with you, you will probably need it.

Madison, we are happy to hear you enjoyed your kayaking trip! You may have been with another company however. We don't use clear kayaks since the water generally isn't clear enough to benefit from them. Regardless, we are glad you enjoyed your time in St Pete:)

This kayak ride was going great then at the end me and my cousin had sore arms and she pulled us and kept us entertained so that was great!

The trip was very well organized and the staff was very friendly. We had a great day on the water! Spencer was very knowledgeable and helpful. He even took pictures a few family photos for us. It was a great way to spend the day in Florida.
