Wow! I can't possibly say enough good things. Max was friendly, entertaining, and supremely knowledgable. He grew up playing in this exact swamp as a kid so the number of entertaining stories and anecdotes he could tell you about it are literally bottomless. Nevertheless, the whole morning was so easy going. My friend and I had plenty of space to just chat and take it easy as we kayaked. We are two 23-year-olds from Los Angeles. This is one of the best tours of anything I've ever taken. The guides here are among the most genuine and helpful people out there. It's no coincidence this thing is rated so high. The next time I'm in New Orleans, I will definitely be doing this tour again...it was that good.

Chelsea led us on our kayake tour and she was lovely, very knowledgeable, me and my 2 daughters, 13 and 8 had a lot of fun... saw baby alligators, egrets, beautiful scenery. Loved this natural view of Louisiana. Thank you Chelsea!

My wife and I took this kayaking tour of the bayou and had a fantastic time; it was our favorite part of our trip to New Orleans! We enjoyed learning about the history of the region and about the local flora and fauna. We stayed completely dry during the tour, so no need to worry about getting wet. The pace of paddling was very relaxed and pleasant. We took pictures and video with our iphones, but wished we had brought along a proper camera and our GoPros as the footage would have made for an awesome video. If you are on the fence regarding which swamp tour to take, IT'S THIS ONE!
