A local Louisiana naturalist guides you through the historic Manchac Swamp explaining historic information and the native ecosystem. This was a brilliant tour! We were taken out by Max in a small group on a warm but slightly rainy day. Max really took his time to ensure we were all happy and shared so many interesting facts about the swamp and it’s inhabitants. It didn’t feel like he was ‘on the clock’ and was clearly enjoying himself and therefore so were we! It felt like spending time with a friend, not a tour guide. I would definitely do it again. We saw plenty of wildlife including alligators, owls and turtles. Just fantastic! Thanks so much for a wonderful kayaking experience.

Great tour. The guide was knowledgeable and very flexible. We were not rushed, and he accommodated the wide range of abilities of the participants. They have both single and double kayaks. We got to see lots of gators. Our 8-year-old was a little antsy on the way out, but he got really into it by the end and had a great time.

We booked a kayak tour to get out and see the bayou, and it was absolutely fantastic. Kirk was so informative and passionate, and we were able to see loads of wildlife with him at the helm. The group was small - my friend and I plus two others, so it was wonderfully chilled and serene. Thanks so much, I highly recommend.
