I went with my dad with Captain Norman and Josh. We did the 6-11 am photography tour and it was just us. Josh picked us up at our hotel in New Orleans and drove us to the entrance to the Bayou, allowing us to stop for snacks on the way. When We arrived, it was still dark and we jumped right into the boat. Josh and Norman were extremely friendly! We arrived at our Sunrise location on Lake Maurepas and Josh helped me get the shot I wanted. We even ventured far into the marsh for the perfect setup. He allowed me to fly my drone as well. Then, Josh and Norman took us into the Bayou to photograph the beautiful cypress trees and their reflections. I enjoyed my experience so much and am dying to go back!! Thanks so much Josh and Norman!

I read reviews for several companies before choosing Wild Louisiana. I have nothing but good things to say. My husband and I went out with Kirk. Communication before pick up was easy. We enjoyed chatting with Kirk on the drive out to Manchac. He was very much in his element on our kayak tour. Kirk has a deep interest in the biology of the bayou and was engaging to listen to. Even with our high expectations based on other reviews, our expectations were exceeded. I highly recommend this experience and Wild Louisiana Tours.

I am born and raised in New Orleans and still did this tour. Even took my five year old daughter in the tandem and she loved it. These are some of the most peaceful waters you can kayak in. Max will tell you about more species of flora and fauna than you realized you're looking at. A real treasure. Take a break from Bourbon Street and do this. Oh yeah, there are no mosquitoes here!
