Take a 2–3 hour kayak and canoe swamp tour through the historic Manchac swamp. A local Louisiana naturalist guides you through the historic Manchac Swamp explaining historic information and the native ecosystem. We had a lot of fun, the guide gave us a lot of informations about the nature surrounding us. We unfortunately saw just one small alligator and a few frogs but since this kind of tour is nature-friendly you could expect that wildlife is not always present at the same amount. Anyway the plants and nature surrounding us was amazing and relaxing, it was very immersive!

I would highly recommend wild Louisiana Tours, they are awesome! We had a amazing kayak experience in the swamps, we saw so much wildlife our guide Max was awesome. He is very knowledgeable and laid back, making sure everyone is comfortable and okay! We learn lots of history and lots of interesting fact for the swamps

We loved our time kayaking the bayou with Wild Louisiana Tours. We're from Michigan and this was our first trip to Louisiana. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the bayou, the plants and animals it supports, the ecosystem it sustains and also the history of the formation of the bayou and how the Native Americans used it as a travel route. All very interesting!! Equipment was new and kayak was very comfortable. Would definitely do it again if we get the chance.
