I took the Manchac Magic tour and WOW did it exceed expectations. I went on the tour half expecting the usual oversized kayaks and large cumbersome group. However, what we got was quite the opposite - sleek kayaks and only 4 people in the group including myself and the guide! So much better than the 10+ guided tours with their bulky kayaks that we watched plow on by us. The guide was an experienced forester who knew so much about the flora and fauna (we saw a couple gators too!) not to mention so nice and personable. One of our group members was a beginner kayaker and the guide helped her become a pro in no time. If you're looking for a non-crowded tour with a personal touch, this is the tour for you! Cannot recommend it enough!

I cannot recommend Wild Louisiana Tours enough. Josh is professional, knowledgeable, friendly and patient. He knows how to put you on the bite and get fish in the boat. Speaking of boats. His kayaks are in great shape and are clean and organized. He provides everything you need to catch tons of fish. Make sure you bring water, sunscreen and polarized glasses. Personally, I can't wait to come back down for another trip!

Spent the morning with Max from Wild Louisiana tours. Happened to walk into the store in the quarter and signed up for the tour. Smaller operation so you get great interaction with your guide. Your not just one of the pack. Met up at the St Roch Market and drove out of town to pick up the kayaks and the get on the water. Max was great, friendly, very informative and an all round great guy. This was a fabulous morning, we saw all kinds of wildlife and Max was knowledgeable and also threw in a ton of history and other interesting facts. So much better than a boat tour. Nice gently paddle not too strenuous
