Kayak fishing with Josh was great. He led me to seven great red fish. In reality, I think he led me to more than that. Seven was what I managed to bring to the boat. This was my first warm water kayak fishing (or any kind of fishing) and it was nothing, but enjoyable. Josh is a great guy, and a great guide. I highly recommend Josh and Wild Louisiana Tours.

My husband, daughter and her boyfriend and I went on a kayak tour with Max. Wild Louisiana Tours was very accommodating. It was pouring rain on the date of our booking. They kept in touch to monitor the weather and allowed us to switch to another day. We had an incredible time as Max was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and the surrounding terrain. We saw alligators, turtles and even baby owls and their mother. Max knew optimal locations and timing to get the best views. We would highly recommend Wild Louisiana Tours to anyone interested in exploring the bayou by kayak.

Max, our guide, knows the waters so well that you feel completely at home in the bayou. He is so knowledgeable, knows it all: the animals, the climate, the history, the plant life, and how to handle any water difficulties. If you're at all nervous about handling a kayak, don't worry a bit. It's a gently paddle with many stops to look at owls, eagles, snowy egrets, and even a great blue heron. As soon as it was over, I wanted to hop back in and do it again!. This is the tour (and the tour guide) that you want!
