Snorkel Tour to Captain Cook Monument Kailua-Kona, Big Island

Overview
If you are new to or have never snorkeled before this is the ideal choice! Particularly good for families with younger children or swimmers who aren’t certain if they are “seaworthy” enough for one of our longer trips.

This trip is much slower-paced and affords guests time to become more familiar and comfortable with the exciting and beautiful sport of snorkeling. Our crew will be happy to help you adjust your mask, fins, and snorkel and help you become comfortable viewing the tropical fish while using a flotation assistance device we call a “noodle”. You'll even watch for dolphins and whales along the way!

Patrick and Jared were outstanding guides and hosts on this magical tour! Learned so much about the history, the fish and the snorkeling was spectacular. This is a “don’t miss” tour! Valerie

Capt. Shelley and Cat were awesome for our afternoon snorkel at the Captain Cook Monument. The tour was small and personal, and Capt. Shelley really knows his Hawaii history! He went in detail and said the full Hawaiian names with ease, none of which I remember or can type here. The boat ride to the snorkeling spot was fun with cool stops along the Kona Coast to showcase lava tubes and special bays. Once we got to the snorkeling bay, the noodles made it easy to float along and see everything on the reef (including two spotted Eagle rays, a spiny puffer fish and tons of other local Hawaiian fish). The snacks and drinks afterwards were a nice touch before the gorgeous boat ride back. I’d recommend their team to anyone visiting the island. Make sure to reserve in advance because they book up fast!

It was the highlight of our trip! There were so many fish with so many amazing colors and they were inches away. The history we learned was also great. Even saw about 10 dolphins swimming near the boat as we docked.
