South Kaibab Trail
The South Kaibab Trail is a must-hike trail in Grand Canyon National Park. It was blasted out of the Canyon's sheer walls by the National Park Service in the 1920s, and today offers a dramatic journey to amazing features like Ooh Aah Point, Cedar Ridge and Skeleton Point. On this tour our goal, which is not guaranteed as each group is unique, is Skeleton Point, where we will enjoy a picnic lunch looking down onto the Colorado River and Phantom Ranch far below us. The hike back is arduous, so be ready for a quick descent and a longer return!

We could not have asked for a better way to celebrate my husband's 40th. Our tour guide, Brian, was phenomenal. He was a natural and loved what he does. He showed concern and interest in all of our needs and restrictions. The end of June, I hear, is usually hot, but our day was 78 degrees! We took it slow and made it to skeleton point. Brian also prepared a beautiful lunch for us and topped it off with a birthday song and cake for my husband. By the end of our 6.5 mile hike, we already had inside jokes with our tour guide. I expected a great tour, but Brian and the company went above and beyond. Thank you for the experience of a lifetime!!!
