South Kaibab Trail
The South Kaibab Trail is a must-hike trail in Grand Canyon National Park. It was blasted out of the Canyon's sheer walls by the National Park Service in the 1920s, and today offers a dramatic journey to amazing features like Ooh Aah Point, Cedar Ridge and Skeleton Point. On this tour our goal, which is not guaranteed as each group is unique, is Skeleton Point, where we will enjoy a picnic lunch looking down onto the Colorado River and Phantom Ranch far below us. The hike back is arduous, so be ready for a quick descent and a longer return!

Our hike down South Kiabab trail was great. Dean was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable. My wife was a bit hesitant but his constant reassurance supported her to complete the hike and enjoy herself. He clearly has a passion for the outdoors and develops and excellent rapport with clients.

We had a great day hike. Our guide was very accommodating and flexible based on our ability. The easy part is going down so taking it slow coming back up was key. Amazing views. This was a lot of fun!

My kids and I love Matt. He was so personable and knowledgeable. We felt like he was part of the family. He did such a great job cheering us on during the hike. He encouraged us and was genuinely interested in our experience and who we are. He makes a delicious sandwich and he even made us cookies.
