South Kaibab Trail
The South Kaibab Trail is a must-hike trail in Grand Canyon National Park. It was blasted out of the Canyon's sheer walls by the National Park Service in the 1920s, and today offers a dramatic journey to amazing features like Ooh Aah Point, Cedar Ridge and Skeleton Point. On this tour our goal, which is not guaranteed as each group is unique, is Skeleton Point, where we will enjoy a picnic lunch looking down onto the Colorado River and Phantom Ranch far below us. The hike back is arduous, so be ready for a quick descent and a longer return!

Our guide for the our 4 day Sedona/Grand Canyon hike was Doug. He was awesome. Extremely knowledgeable as he has been with Wildland Trekking forever. Doug made our hike so memorable. Showing us landmarks and explaining them to us. Our entire trip was one of the best trips I have been on in a long time. Will use Wildland Trekking again.

Carlos was an exceptionally knowledgeable guide. He tailored the trip perfectly for our family. The registration staff was extremely accommodating and flexible when we changed the date of our hike based on weather.

My brother and I had a terrific guide, Josh, for our hike. He was extremely knowledgable about the Canyon and very encouraging and patient with me especially, this being my first experience with this type of hiking. He was also completely prepared with everything we needed including all equipment, coffee, snacks and a healthy lunch following the hike. Everything I eat in my normal diet! His comment stating that "not many youngsters could do what I did" on that day really spoke volumes and I repeat that to everyone that I talk to about our great experience. Thanks, Josh!
