At 80, I've been around a few years. I voted for Kennedy in 1960, I watched the Space program grow. The tour was on my bucket list & didn't disappoint!

we spent a full day, arrived early to walk around a bit, no problems parking. Adults and kids loved it. Did both trams, back to back, skipping Rocket Park the first time. There was so much for the kids to do, we could have spent a second day there.

I had high expectation with this visit, but I am really disappointed. Unfortunately it was raining today (it is no somebody fault, of course), but they can make feel good and have nice visit. The first part was make more for kids and disorganized. The tour is a lot of people in the “train” in one time and the guide hasn’t any control over the group, we can’t hear very well, etc etc, in the first stop we just see trough the big glass and we couldn’t hear anything. It was raining a little bit by the time. When we finish the first part (first building stop) it was rain very hard so we skipped the BEST PART, the rocket, but we were already completely wet, so why not go into this building ? When we get to the place where we took the train, the crew allowed to get out in the place without roof and swamp, even though was a roof ahead, like 30 feet, because was raining dogs and cats, and also a lady from the crew to come our seat and said “hurry, hurry hurry get out” and she didn’t allow us to take time to get out to the train and try not slide off in the swamp. Finally we got into the main building and a person was in the picture section was yielding “free pictures”, I thought that they gave us the picture free, because we couldn’t complete the tour and also because we were completely soaked, so I took the picture and the lady in the cashier said that I need to pay, but I explain that the person gave me the picture said “free”, finally she decided to charge me the pictures although one of them said free. Anyway, after 4 hours drive in one way (total trip 8 hours driving back home) for me and my family it was a terrible experience, we were only 2 hours in this “nightmare museum”. I do not recommend this place. I am so sad that I wasted my money, get soaked for nothing, more when I had high, high expectations. I am no talking about the rain, it is nothing that human can handle, of course, I am talking about the way the crew treat the visitors and I recommend improve some station, can be more attractive for kids, adults and general visitors. I am really sad, it is not worthy , more if you are coming far away !!
