St. Augustine Ghost Tour: A Ghostly Encounter

Overview
This is a 90-minute, unscripted walking tour that will take guests deep into St. Augustine’s darker history. Professionally licensed guides share stories passed from one generation to the next about the oldest city’s strange and difficult past. Tours are multi-generational, family friendly and pet friendly. Although guests with mobility limitations will also enjoy the tour, there are some steeets that may present a problem for certain wheelchairs/motorized wheelchairs.

Tours include some history and a lot of mystery. Guides will also provide instructions on how to use ghost hunting tools (which can be rented for $5). Guests are allowed and encouraged to bring along their own ghost hunting tools as well.

This tour was one of the main reasons my girlfriend and I came up to St. Augustine from Daytona, and it did not disappoint. It’s a dose of history, horror, and hilarity all encapsulated. Our guide was “The Undertaker,” Matt, and great was absolutely incredible. His personality is what really made my experience special and memorable, he’s absolutely hilarious, over the top, and an amazingly engrossing storyteller. He was constantly engaging with us and the 10 other attendees, and he didn’t miss a beat. Matt, I hope you see this, because you’re an absolute star and you made my trip to the city one to remember.

Morganne was an amazing tour guide! She really shared the stories/history with passion, not just as a boring script. She shared her own experiences, being a local of St. Augustine, which gave it a personal touch. Thank you Morganne!

Went on a ghost tour with Renee last week. I have been on ghost tours in other places including Old Montreal and Rome but this one was by far the best. Renee was funny and animated yet relayed the stories in a way that made you scared days later. I'm not a believer in the paranormal but some of the stories and pictures she shared made me second guess. Be advised not family friendly if your kids are the sensitive types, but i think this would be true for any ghost tour.

Thank You! It is always amazing to see the reactions of our guests and what they experience. How many times their opinions change about what they believe before and after the tour. Our tour is usually considered family-friendly, however if there were no children on your particular tour then it is geared more toward the adults. It is never our intention to "scare" anyone. Welcome to the family!
